Each May, Noto, the celebrated Baroque jewel of southeastern Sicily, stages one of the island’s most visually iconic spring events: the Infiorata di Noto. Set along elegant Via Corrado Nicolaci, the festival transforms a noble Baroque street into an ephemeral open-air artwork composed entirely of flower petals.
For its 47th edition, the Infiorata is dedicated to Pop Culture, bringing together references to icons, music, and visual languages that have shaped contemporary imagination.
This five-day itinerary proposal follows the full rhythm of the event, from the first day of installation through the days of full bloom and into the closing atmosphere of the festival. It is designed as a city-based journey shaped by floral craftsmanship, architectural elegance, and the emotional power of temporary art. Rather than treating the Infiorata as a single viewing moment, this proposal allows the experience to unfold gradually, revealing how Noto’s historic centre and spring festival identity become inseparable over five days.
