Dream-Else

7-day Festival Circuit Itinerary starts with a Capital of Culture celebration in Agrigento, then Green Valley Pop Fest near Trapani, and immersive cultural stops along Sicily’s western coast. It’s designed to combine vibrant events with space for rest, nature, and connection.

Festival Circuit Options:

Agrigento - Italian Capital of Culture 2025

Throughout July, Agrigento takes centre stage as Italy’s Capital of Culture, hosting a rich mix of art, faith, history, and sustainability initiatives. Visitors are invited to explore site-specific installations  -from Nathalie Harb’s meditative Silent Room v05 to Edoardo Malagigi’s recycled‑material Temple of Tetrapak and the powerful anti-war sculpture End Game.

Live experiences include Cathedral in Concert (July 11-25), with classical performances echoing through historic stone halls, and FAI Summer Evenings featuring sunset literary aperitifs in the enchanting Kolymbethra Garden. Meanwhile, the Festival of Archaeological Cinema (July 15-19) reimagines cinema against the backdrop of ruined temples and coastal vistas. This is a living dialogue between past and future - where culture, ecology, and community converge in the Valley of the Temples and beyond.

Green Valley Pop Fest (Trapani)

Set among ancient olive groves near Trapani, the Green Valley Pop Fest is more than a summer music festival - it's an eco-conscious celebration. Held on July 27, this event combines live performances powered by solar stages, organic food stalls, and a strict plastic-free policy. Attendees can enjoy workshops on sustainability and participate in on-site tree-planting drives, showcasing a model of regenerative festival culture rooted in environmental care.

Terre Sicane Wine Fest (Contessa Entellina)

From July 25-27, Contessa Entellina hosts the Terre Sicane Wine Fest, an immersive celebration of biodistrict-grown wines from native Sicilian grape varieties. More than just tastings, the fest includes educational vineyard tours, music under the stars, and paired dishes from local, women-led cooperatives. Emphasising regenerative practices in viticulture, the festival bridges traditional winemaking with modern sustainability, offering an intimate peek into terroir and community.

Cous Cous Fest (San Vito Lo Capo)

September 19-28

One of Sicily’s most beloved international food festivals, the Cous Cous Fest celebrates Mediterranean identity, dialogue, and gastronomy.

Set in the beachside town of San Vito Lo Capo, this event combines global culinary competitions, live concerts, cooking shows, and cultural exchange - all anchored by the symbolic dish of couscous.

It’s a feast of flavour and unity, where food becomes a language of peace.
